How to Use Extended Desktop

If you ever connect your laptop to a projector or flat panel and you see a black screen with the Clayton County Logo, do not panic; you are only in Extended Desktop mode.  Extended Desktop is a Windows feature that allows you to use a projector, interactive flat panel, or a secondary monitor as an extension of your desktop.  This means that you have extra space to open up browsers and programs and free up space for your primary screen.  Teachers will typically use this feature to display content for students, yet still be able to check sensitive emails and add gradebook information.
