Using the Video Conferencing Unit

Eddie White

Every school in the district is equipped with a Cisco SX-20 video conferencing unit. This unit is a gateway to colleges, corporations, museums, and various learning opportunities for our students. It provides an excellent vehicle to truly extend learning beyond the four walls. Teachers and administrators should seek opportunities to collaborate with people in our district, state, region or even throughout the country.

In order to communicate with other schools within our district. the academic coordinators, school principal, site facilitator, and media specialist have the ability to create a meeting using the BT Engage platform.  If you hold one of the aforementioned titles, please see the BT Engage Meeting Manager Guide to discover how to setup a school-to-school video conference.  Engage account holders will also discover that the BTEngage iOS app is very user friendly.
